True friendship isn’t about being inseperable, it’s being separated and nothing changes

Just last night, me and my college best friends went out for a drink. The last time the four of us did this together was more than four years ago! (AB just got back here at PH for a vacation. She currently works at UAE.)

A Background of Our Friendship
I met Eds and AB, way back 2010 on our first year in college while Karen was my elementary best friend. I don’t remember how we all got along but I’m sure of the fact that we didn’t like each other at first! We were all classmates taking up Business Administation at Batangas State University.

We always used to hang out in Eds’ apartment after class (she’s the only one boarding because she’s from Mindoro). We used to call it ”the Mansion.” It’s where we do our projects, homeworks, food “trips”, mini parties and group studies.

We often have our petty fights, but always find ourselves forgetting about it.
AB’s 18th birthday, 2011
We were always together for 2 years. Until AB had to shift her course to Tourism Management and Eds decided to take up Marketing major while me and Karen chose Economics.
This is for our Personality Development subject. Our last semester as blockmates, 2012
We had busy schedules but we still find time to see each other. We still had our meetings in the mansion and group studies for our common subjects.

Me and Karen graduated on April 2014, AB and Eds soon after.
Now that we all have our own careers, we rarely have the opportunity for reunions (especially AB). Nevertheless, we still keep contact on social media.
A lot may have changed, but not our love for each other. Memories, good and bad will always remind us of the journey we had together.
