Detectives in a drive seized nine zebras from Satmail Bazar area in Sharsha upazila early Wednesday.
Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted a drive in the area around 12 am and recovered the zebras while being taken to the neighboring country, said Maniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of DB.
However, police could not arrest anyone in this connection, he added.
Further details will be shared with the media at a press briefing later in the day, he said.
