Radiohead Becomes A Content Creep, Sues Lana Del Rey

How can we be ok with a system where one creative artist thinks they are owed 100% of the profits from the work of another creative artist just because there are a few striking yet indirect similarities between parts of their works?

If you listen to these tracks, there are striking differences also:

We need better systems of compensation for content creation, discovery, distribution, inspiration, and more.

This one stings, personally, because it makes me lose respect for Radiohead.

I've been a "fan" since early HS, when I found the Pablo Honey CD in a record store (remember those?) before they were big. 'Creep' was the song that first made me like them. They've been pioneers of open culture, champions of their fanbase, and advocates for novel ways artists can monetize their content beyond the control of labels...

Guess now that they're the old establishment, everything's changed.
