We have to remember that steem is really low at the moment. A 10dollar vote now is HUGE in terms of the amount of steem you earn. Back when steem was 6 dollars I was excited to get a 150dollar vote but that was only a fraction of the steem that a 10dollar vote now earns. I am earning far more steem today than I was a year ago (it is just worth a lot less AT THE MOMENT). If people can think long term (which is the only way the network can grow) rather than short term then it will be better for everyone.
