We need to be creative about ways to interact with our customers and for ways that they may interact with us.
Here are a few suggestions to get the grey cells working:
- Polls - these allow customers to give feedback or interact in other ways, Having polls about new products or offerings can help customers develop a sense of ownership as they feel involved in the process.
- Tours - in person or virtual give customers a sense of greater involvement or belonging.
- Contests - these can be very creatively designed.
- Sponsored events - allow customers to interact on a more social level.
- Feedback on product testing - Makes customers feel they are part of the journey.
- Points systems or loyalty programs - these can also be gamified.
- Customer feedback or review portals - even negative feedback can be constructive if acted upon.
- Dialog via social media or other avenues - give your customers a voice and let them interact with the voice of your business
- Webinars - great for all sorts of messaging and interactions.
These are just a few ways we can engage and be engaged with. Trying them out will quickly show what works and is most effective and what needs more work or adjustment.
