Content marketing might equal free promotion and advertising in the form of higher engagement and better search engine results… but nobody can doubt that this is a tough, demanding gig that wants you to deliver every day.
While creating high quality content regularly is a must, you need to have a set of tools in your kit to make this arduous task that little bit easier. Technology has gifted us with a lot of things, and there are plenty of techniques to make life easier.
Here are 16 tools that I use on a regular basis to help me stay on top of my workload – I hope they help you, too! There’s a little something for every part of the process, and you may just find the perfect thing to help you streamline your process and make life that little bit eaier.
First off, you need to fix your workspace – especially if you work from home. Let’s face it, our homes are full of distractions and it’s all too easy to shirk a boring article to go binge on Netflix, raid the fridge, or play with the dog.
There are a lot of tools you can use here. Workfrom is an app that helps you find local co-work spaces, making it easy to work from a distraction free, pro-environment daily (and network, if that’s your bag).
Another cool app is Coffitivity, which doesn’t take you place – but it does make ambient noises of those places. Work on a “campus”, enjoy the clinking murmer of coffee shops, or your own favorite audio-ambience location.
