Idea :Tech Driven Solution for Prisoners
Solution:
Proposing a system for managing prisoners within a correctional facility using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. It combines elements of access control, information management, and data analysis to improve security, efficiency, and rehabilitation opportunities.

RFID Infrastructure:
Readers strategically placed at access points (cell doors, cafeterias, medical facilities) will identify and track prisoners.
Each prisoner will be issued a unique RFID tag for identification and access control.

Software Infrastructure (Python):
A backend system built with Python and frameworks like Flask or Django will manage:

Prisoner data (profiles, sentences, etc.)
RFID tag associations with prisoners
Access logs from RFID readers
APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) will facilitate communication between the user interface and the backend for data exchange.

User Interface (HTML/CSS/JavaScript):

Secure login with differentiated dashboards for prisoners and authorized staff:
Prisoner Dashboard: Displays personalized information like daily schedules, assigned tasks, educational opportunities, and allows access to educational resources, legal materials, and virtual visitation scheduling.
Staff Dashboard: Provides functionalities for managing prisoner profiles, access permissions, incident reports, and real-time data monitoring (RFID logins, behavioral patterns, facility alerts).
Feature Implementation:

RFID Authentication: JavaScript will handle RFID tag detection and trigger communication with the backend for user identification and access logging.
Virtual Visitation Scheduler: A calendar interface (using libraries like FullCalendar.js) will allow prisoners and families to schedule virtual visits.
Educational Resources: Curated educational content (e-books, video lectures) will be accessible through HTML templates styled with CSS.
Behavioral Analytics: Python with data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy) will analyze and visualize behavioral patterns based on access logs to identify potential issues or rehabilitation opportunities.
Security and Compliance:

All communication will be encrypted using HTTPS to safeguard data integrity.
