Firstly, I extend a ton of gratitude to @jerrybanfield for this rare initiative of supporting steem based projects with funds. It is a development which shall go a long way in helping the steem blockchain as well as steemians who are still coming up the rung.
This budget proposal is sought to fund the #steem-assist project initiated by @tutornary. Read more about Tutornary HERE.
WHAT IS #STEEM-ASSIST?
Tutornary's gets its life source from the STEEM blockchain in earnings and donations, thus, has STEEM PROMOTION as part of its major projects. The steem blockchain has come to the rescue of lives, empowering them intellectually and financially. Just a few have benefitted from this privilege. There are many more talented individuals out there in the outskirts who need to be aware of this platform of freedom and scholarship. Aside that, most steemians come in with the wrong orientation and end up frustrated after a few attempts which yielded little or no earnings. Steem-Assist was born under these concerns. The tag #steem-assist is reserved to @tutornary for its STEEM PROMOTION purposes.
UNDER THE STEEM-ASSIST PROJECT, @TUTORNARY SHALL:
Host weekly public forums/meetups targeted at reaching to at least 100 individuals at the grass-root level, teaching them to adopt steem as the next generation medium of exchange as well as providing them with broad enlightenment about steemit, steem blockchain and how to efficiently interact with the crypto space.
Provide regular follow-up/mentorship sessions for these newly initiated steemians to equip them with the right intellectual tools for successful and profitable contribution to the steem blockchain. Consistency is one of our major concern here; we observed with dismay that individuals have fronted steemit outreaches for the sole purpose of reaping from the reward pool associated with promoting steemit and not for the passion for people empowerment. WE WANT TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS! ...we educate...we mentor...we empower!
After proper mentoring, we don't just leave our mentees hanging, LEVERAGING ON THE REWARD POOL, we empower them with needed equipment to kick off were needed. Tutornary shall also extend empowerment alms in the form of high school scholarships, college scholarships, support small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) among many other support initiatives we have in view.
Provide curation for selected category of posts as @tutornary steempower graduates.
Facilitate quality steemit contents of grand aesthetic touch by providing regular reviews/tips on posts of members of the steemit community.
HOW WOULD #STEEM-ASSIST HELP THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN?
This project shall take steemit to the outskirts.
#steem-assist shall produce well mentored steemians who understand the essence of the steem blockchain and appreciate steemit for what it is.
It shall further popularize steem and steemit, reaching at least 300 persons each month and properly mentoring them and equipping them with the tools for success.
Extend empowerment support in the form of high school scholarships, college scholarships, support small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) among many other support initiatives we have in view as we go farther.
Facilitate quality steemit contents of grand aesthetic touch by providing regular reviews/tips on posts of members of the steemit community.
WHO IS BEHIND #STEEM-ASSIST?
#steem-assist is a project of @tutornary and is led by @prettyrose and @mrfelix. Tutornary was initiated by @reverend-fidelis.
WHAT WE HAVE SECURED THUS FAR FOR #STEEM-ASSIST
- A Toyota Camry saloon car, made available by a member of the team; @otybest for #steem-assist movements.
- Brand new HP650 G6 laptop for outreaches, proper weekly documentation and publication of #steem-assist projects. (122 Steem: value as at when expended).
- Three Infinix HOT 5 Phones for team members in charge of online mentorship sessions of #steem-assist and other tutornary activities. (39 Steem each = 117)
- Purchased two rollup banner stands for our weekly meetups and #steem-assist campaigns. We are yet to complete the branding due to limited funds. (23 Steem each = 46 Steem total: value as at when expended).
Branded T-shirts for 6 members of the team, more will be made available with more funds. (5.2 Steem each = 31.2 Steem, value as at when expended).
- Radio jingles announcing the meetup for this week. (34 Steem for a total of 8 announcements across the week: value as at when expended).
- **We have reserved an internet domain on which tutornary shall be hosted through steem connect: see www.tutornary.com (16 Steem: value as at when expended)
Thus far we have expended about 366.2 Steem. This was generated from the donations of supporters of the @tutornary #steem-assist project.
WHAT MORE DO WE NEED (SHORT TERM)
More funds for fuelling logistics and transportation.
Extra funds to secure more branded shirts. Some will be used as souvenirs to our audience after each #steem-assist weekly outreach.
Funds to secure myriad #steem-assist banner designs for the already secured rollup stands for use in our weekly #steem-assist outreaches. And possibly secure more rollup stands.
Sizable Generator for outreaches.
Projector and projector stand.
If the above are secured as soon as possible, we shall only be running weekly expenses as slated below.
Weekly (Regular) Budget
About 68 steem will be expended on a weekly basis for a successful #steem-assist on the following:
- Fuel for transportation: 8 Steem (at current price)
- Fuel for powering the meetup venues during each session (training sessions and mentorship sessions through the week): 6 Steem (at current price)
- Venue logistics and public address systems: 15 steem (at current price)
- Publicity on radio and flyers as need may be: 34 Steem (at current price)
- Copies of training materials and manuals: 5 Steem (at current price)
Total: 68 Steem
WHAT MORE DO WE NEED (LONG TERM)
- Good mini-busses for ease of transportation.
- Good curation to build at least 4000SP for online support and curation. This will really help the #steem-assist mentorship campaigns.

If you have been successfully mentored by @tutornary under the #steem-assist project. Have an active steemit account of reputation 37 and above. You can be a part of the project.
If you are a tutornary approved professional, you can be part of the project.
If you are an active steemian, of reputation 40 and above, and have passion for promoting steemit, then you can be part of the project.
