i took the afternoon off (after getting all my client work done in the morning) and recorded some video offline for uploading later on today after getting back from a nice walk out and take the animals for a good walk.
like my partner said, “you gotta touch grass” once in a while.
i got up a little earlier than usual today to watch grandfather elon hoping to stick a rocket into the sky but it never happened. tbh, i had no idea how the BFR was even gonna take off, i mean wow it’s got 36 engines underneath to try and make it fly. that’s wild to me. seems expensive if things go wrong with it, having to built 36 engines each time.
i think they said also it was the 15th time that “starship” had gone up as well. most had failed in spectacular fashion to get to this point. real talk, real life. you gonna expense a few failures before you can have a regular on-point rocket to get you out there past the stars.
i got a video profile done today as well, collecting my funds from a job i did with that remotely for a client my side, so that worked well, i’d love to do more of that stuff moving forward, i’ve certainly found a momentum with them, i could be doing that stuff everyday, i think we have maybe like six months before tools exist that just doing all the social media/creatives everything for businesses.. ..
. . . but i do fear it will just be ai talking to ai. whoever has the best engine, gpu’s and ability to crank this stuff out will win, but i guess it’s always been that way. chances are we will probably kill ourselves by then anyway the way these things are going. gotta say thou, i love ai tools.
another thing i’ve been messing with is widescreen and vertical recording at the same time, it’s gonna be much easier for me to work on some video content and also put out a vertical version at the same time thou moving forward. kinda excited about getting that going because it’s another way for me to make more packs for it and sell them!
inflation is still nuts thou right. everyone on the move. remote working, dying high streets, certainly the time to be growing your own stuff — less about survival but more so abundance.
that being said, made a fire chicken tikka kit last night, so damn tasty, bit of heavy cream in there for extra enjoyment. currently enjoying my food a lot more than usual. keeping aware of it thou because exercising has dropped off after three months of really enjoying that, don’t wanna get too much bulking on mid year/summer time!
aiming to get started on a whole new round of udemy and skillshare (and gumroad downloads) of web3/ai courses soon, proper walk throughs and also sharing short copy versions vertically through shorts and tiktok. just a little residual income. all good, helps out here and there, extra lentils and chickpea stocks.
still investing in cryptos over here. got some ai/web3 platforms that i like that I’m stacking towards for the coming years when we might end up seeing the digital blockchain switch for digital currency. gonna happen sooner or later right? people are pissed at the systems and we need a more solid payment solution(s) — far too many script kiddies stuck in the matrix.
i do think that fednow/cdbc’s will open up the states — other countries to have digital payments as part of there offerings instead of the paypals and stripes of this world. as soon as people see it’s fairly instant (and low fees) i know people will wanna change to it. just about getting people over the final line.
right, time to double down, switching up the day, aiming for video at golden hour next!
