The Syrian government has so far managed to clear 85 percent of the country's territory from militants, Russian news agencies quoted Alexander Lapin, commander of the Russian forces headquarters in Syria, as saying on Tuesday.
He added that Islamic state fighters still control about 27 thousand square kilometers of Syrian territory only.# header
