The incredible facts of the Pyramids of Giza ∆

For the construction of the pyramid 130 granite blocks were needed in addition to limestone. Each block weighed approximately 12 to 70 tons, which were transported 800 kilometers about 4000 years ago. These massively heavy blocks were installed at heights of up to 60 metres. The pyramid consists of about 2.3 million blocks of stone of different sizes. To do such a job is unbelievable for those days! Some of the work was done more professionally than today with modern technology.

In the king's chamber, the mass is almost perfect. There is not even a deviation of 1 centimeter between each granite block. (Try cutting granite blocks so precisely with a hammer and chisel?!)

The pyramids of Giza are so unbelievable that even the architect of the famous museum "Louvre" in Paris followed the architecture of the ancient Egyptians. Not only when building the Louvre.
