What is it to be a father?

I relied on a text I published a few hours after my daughter was born. Today, my daughter is seven months old and this text was in the heat of the moment, the day after my daughter was born.

"To be a father is to wake up with a sparkle in your eyes simply because two hearts have begotten another heart that beats much faster than yours and has lovely eyes that seek you, that calm down when it is in your lap and listen to your voice.

Who now does not know how to do almost anything, but has the gift to hypnotize you. Who do not know anything today, but in the future will do incredible things and you truly hope that you will. Not only does it twist like help and wants it to be better than you! That draws the best in you, because if a child is your reflection that is the reflection of the best part. And that is why it forces us to be better, because it is with the example that is created.

It is full of doubts and certainties. It is messing up and putting in order, but what is more important is that it fills. Fills the missing space without even knowing it was missing. Your breast becomes larger and your arms stronger.

To be a father is to redefine certain words: love has gained another dimension; future has become more present; present is always accompanied by love.

To be a father is to be able to understand our parents. It is to look at life from the same height, because one only really knows what it is to be a father when one is. And it is something much bigger than you imagine before being.

It is to exist even when it is extinguished! It is the answer to immortality. It is to have a little bit of you walking other roads, discovering other worlds. Making mistakes, guessing. Continuing!

Being a parent is a constant contact with love! I am just over 24 hours as a father and because of this I feel what I want to do in 24 days as a parent. 24 weeks as a parent. 24 years as a father. 24 decades as a father ... "

It's been 7 months of great responsibility and love. Agree? What do you think of the text?
