Motorcycle accidents in the Philippines, fatal or otherwise, can be attributed to several reasons and factors.
First and foremost is drunken driving, which in almost all cases prove fatal.
Then you have those speed addicts who weave in and out moving road vehicles like there was no tomorrow.
Many motorbike accidents are also due to careless and unmindful pedestrians who cross the streets while busy texting or have headsets or earphones which of course impares their auditory senses.
Sometimes, stray animals on busy streets are likewise the culprit.
Most often than not, others just leave their lives to fate. If it's YOUR TIME then no matter what, you are a goner.
I know of someone who took his wife to do groceries. On their way home, their motorbike developed trouble which caused the wife to fall off the moving bike. She could have survived that fall had it not for a speeding truck that took her life. So sad!
I would like to express my deepest condolences to @long888 who's nephew recently passed away due to a motorbike accident.
