my fav #style era used to be the 50s because I loved those fit n flare silhouettes, but the better I get at sewing, the more I find that I like lots of different vintage silhouettes, as long as they fit me (which I can usually make happen). I still like the 50s of course, but I'm also finding a lot of inspiration and beauty from 70s designs lately, and my ultimate fav is to mix and match decades; a reversible sequin fabric reminiscent of the 70s paired with a 90s body con dress, a 50s circle skirt over an 80s leotard, a 40s floor length wool coat with skinny jeans and a sweatshirt underneath- the whole world is my oystuh!
