Tesla-Greece will lead to the establishment of a research center in Athens.
According to Greek media this week Tesla-Greece officially registered in the country and 50 employees in the center will be hired in the coming months.
Initially, the research center will operate within the National Demokritos Research Center in Athens, Greece's largest multiprofile research center.
According to the information distributed the technology company has been negotiating with the Greek government for several months.
Deputy Prime Minister Costas Fotakis, responsible for research and innovation, has persuaded the company to open a Greek branch.
Until now Tesla has three research centers in Europe and two in the Netherlands and one in Germany.
