QUESTION : Good day sir can you please tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a software engineer turned crypto-mogul/steem witness/bank. I tend to be a geek, and like video games.
QUESTION : How did you first discover steemit and what motivated you to join?
I joined Steemit in July 2016. After seeing the Bitcoin blocksize controvesy and the resulting censorship on the bitcoin and reddit forums, I was seeking a free speech platform built into a blockchain.
QUESTION : Can you please tell us why you decided to become a witness?
I became a Witness originally to force myself to learn more about the Steem system. I stayed a witness because I enjoy it.
QUESTION : Please give us a brief explanation on what witness do?
Witnesses form the backbone of the Steem blockchain, running the nodes of that find and add blocks to the chain. They are also the guardians and promoters of the Steem blockchain.
QUESTION : Apart from steemit, do you have any other job you do?
I still work a full time software engineering job.
QUESTION : If you were given an opportunity to change anything in the steemit community, what would that be?
I’d like to see less selfish voting and more voting on others.
QUESTION : What advice would you give to new steemit users?
Make friends, make smart comments on other people’s posts, vote on others posts. Get involved on chats, like Discord, get into projects. Write about things that fascinate you, that you have passion for. Build up social connections.
QUESTION : If the world was to end in the next 24 hours, what would you do with the time you have left?
I have no idea. Try to find a way to calm down and relax for that last bit of time.
