I found this statement as part of a advertising campaign on billboards titled @whywerise 🌈
The la county department of mental health @lacdmh started this campaign to empower youth to start public conversations about mental health challenges and solutions🦁
This is such a good idea using art as a bridge to solve bigger issues🦄
I am soon going to house a homeless youth in a tiny home in my backyard.
Art will be a huge part of this program. We will also provide access to holistic health care, healthy nutrition and food, access to mentorship to work on their passions, volunteer opportunities and overall general support.
This really plays into this whole campaign as la will rise by helping people deal with mental health problems and by helping the homeless. It is said 25 percent of the homeless deal with mental health problems🐺
So when we help people in these circumstances we in turn rise as well💚
