A few days ago I had a good opportunity to see fog during a morning walk and used this moment to shoot some pictures of trees which have an additional mystical appearance due to the effect. Already in ancient cultures had trees an important meaning and were also considered as a sign of creation or growth and in various ancient cultures there is a tree of life which is also considered as a protector of the world as in the Norse mythology the tree Yggdrasil which also connects the different worlds with its roots. In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is an ash tree that has roots that have spread all over the world and can also be regarded as a gateway between the earth as well as the sky and it can also be considered as a sign of nature or the universe. In almost every ancient culture, trees as sacred beings were also associated with mysticism and they were also regarded as the creators of humans because of their age and were associated with secret knowledge and trees also played an important role among the ancient Celts where they were regularly worshipped with rituals. It was not without reason that the tree was also regarded as a sign of wisdom and was considered a connection between the body and mind with a focus on the spiritual side of humans and the unconscious things.
