As a freelancer there's been many opportunities that I perceived I was perfect for yet someone with less experience and a higher hourly rate got the job. How is this fair? it's not, but who cares. if you love what you do you'll consistently push and seek other opportunities. Don't spend tine dwelling and more time honing your craft.
