Decentralized Insurance Policies with Umbrella Coin: ICO Ongoing

I've come across an interesting project called "Umbrella Coin". Its goal is to allow for decentralized insurance policies, thereby decreasing both risk and fees significantly. The ICO started on August 20 and will be open for another 50 days.

While I regularly see rather questionable projects attracting lots of investors (or speculators) these days, I deem this ICO to be underfinanced up to now - probably for very profane reasons: The website is not that fancy and there's not much fuss being made about the project.

Why do I find Umbrella interesting? If I'd received a dollar for each time I was upset about how insurance companies conduct their business, this easily would have piled up to a small fortune. Perhaps Umbrella can be one pilot project to change this.

I decided to participate in the ICO, not based on speculation but based on the necessity of decentralization in many industries, the insurance industry being one of it. Sometimes one project can have a huge impact. Sometimes it takes many small steps. Time will tell whether Umbrella can prevail and how big it can become. I believe it is an idea worth of being supported.

Let's go for a decentralized peer-to-peer business world based on trustless technology instead of the oligopolies we have to cope with today, along with their numerous detrimental effects!

Take Care
