First Smartphone Designed for the Blockchain Generation

Sirin Labs, the company behind the $14,000 Solarin smartphone, is now developing an open-source model that runs on a fee-less blockchain.

Named after scientist Hal Finney, recipient of the world’s first bitcoin transaction, the Finney smartphone is an open-source, ultra-secure phone built on an independent, free blockchain network

The phone’s hardware specs include a 5.2-inch QHD resolution display, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage, a 16MP rear camera, and a 12MP front-facing wide-angle camera. For connectivity, the Finney will feature Bluetooth 5.0 as well as 802.11 ac Wi-Fi.

The Sirin Labs Finney smartphone starts at around $1000 .
