I want to introduce a site called Simbi to you guys. I think the Steemit and Simbi communities have a lot of overlap. In essence, Simbi is a bartering site where you can trade one service for another (i.e. graphic design services for editing services). I've connected with people all over the world through Simbi and it has been a great resource to access services like web development, coding/database work, etc... on a very tight budget.
Simbi is not on the Blockchain, but unsurprisingly many people from the Simbi have asked me whether to not I think it's viable. Definitely possible, though I haven't talked to their management yet. Simbi also uses their "currency" which you can trade for services as well. I put currency in quotes because Simbi points aren't really a currency. They are not on a Blockchain and stay completely internal meaning you can't use them anywhere else.
I created a Crypto & Blockchain group on Simbi that I'd like to invite you to join. It fills a niche. Because the site revolves around trading services, with a little digging it usually isn't difficult to find the right person for whatever job you need. ICO consultations, white paper editing, general information on the cryptocurrencies (I offer quite a bit on that front), coding help, etc.... It's also just a really friendly community of people. A bunch of Simbi peeps actually use Steemit as well. I think you'll see the overlap after giving it a week or so.
