On Creary, there is the option to promote a project in the “Promoted” section. The project that contributes a larger amount of funds to promote a post will be placed higher on the list and therefore will be more visible. Users can promote their own posts, or posts that they like from other users.
Promotions are made with CREA Dollars (CBD) and the funds that are raised by promotions go to a special account that nobody owns or controls. The supply of CBD sent to that account is eliminated by the blockchain of Crea.
How to promote a post on Creary?
To promote a post, click the “Promote” button at the bottom of each post (not in the cover):
Once you click the button, a window will show up. Fill it out by typing the amount of Crea Dollars that you want to spend and click “PROMOTE”:
Your active key will be necessary to perform this action:
From the thumbnail of the publications you can check the amount of funds spent in its promotion by clicking on the drop down menu, where you can see the option "Promotion Cost":
- Remember that promoted contents are only displayed within the first 10 days from its publication (during the period when it can still receive monetary rewards) so, it's worth promoting content right when posted or in the firsts days of its publication.
After this 10-days period it won’t be possible to promote contents.
