The developers of Ethereum have agreed to conduct a hard fork

The developers of Ethereum have agreed to conduct a hard-for-lead Constantinople in their test network Ropsten next month around October 9th.According to the developers, the update will be activated around October 9 in the test network Ropsten with the support of many customers, the characteristics of which are close to the main network Ethereum. However, the speed of the release of blocks in the test network is variable, which is why the block number, which is usually determined when the update was launched, will be installed later. Similarly, the block for implementing hard fork in the main network of crypto currency was not defined.
During the conference developer Hudson Jameson, as the indicative terms of the main upgrade phase, called November-December this year. Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin, who also participated in the conversation, noted that the "complexity bomb" (a piece of code intended to encourage developers to timely release updates) will not have a tangible impact on the network in the coming months, due to which the need for there is no urgent activation of Constantinople.
"It's absolutely not urgent," said Buterin. "We probably have 3 more months or more."
While certain aspects of the renewal, in particular the reduction of awards for blocks from 3 ETH to 2 ETH, cause dissatisfaction among individual community members, otherwise it contains minor technical changes. Accordingly, the developers discussed possible proposals for improving the Ethereum (EIP) for the next hard fork called Istanbul, which should approximately take place 8 months after the launch of Constantinople.
