Facebook's Blockchain Head Quits Coindesk

David Marcus, Facebook's new Blockchain analysis Head, has stepped down from the board of administrators at cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the media rumored. per a report in CoinDesk on Friday, Marcus aforesaid his call to resign was "because of the new cluster i am putting in at Facebook around Blockchain."

His departure comes when Facebook exempted Coinbase from its recent ban on cryptocurrency-related ads.

Besides making a replacement Blockchain cluster, Facebook is additionally exploring the creation of its own cryptocurrency.

According to school web site cheddar cheese, Facebook is "very serious concerning it".

Recode had initial rumored that Facebook was building a replacement team dedicated to Blockchain technology.
