INTRODUCTION
FinNexus is a compact (aggregate of many) protocol(s) that make up an eco-system. FinNexus serves as a problem-addressing link or base for various connections necessary to establish a smooth crypto-market. It was created for the purpose of solving the problem of lack of acceptance/adoption of block-chain de-centralized finance (De-Fi).
In this Article, I am going to give a review of the structure of this Eco-system and its applications in the digital sphere. Also, I shall briefly discuss the FNX-Token.
A. STRUCTURE OF FinNexus
Basically, FinNexus is made up of 3 parts, namely (from 1st to 3rd):
- Technological connection layer
- Functional layer
- External system layer
CONNECTION LAYER
The connection layer will act as an information-transmission hub; allowing the in-flow and out-flow of information via various hibs. It is known as info-hub.
This layer contains:
Gateway: for sending, receiving of information, and also, interaction between it's eco-system and external systems.
APIs: these are of two sets, namely, the Standard (external) APIs and FinNexus (internal) APIs.
Standard SDKs: to be provided by FinNexus for the development of FinNexus-based d-Apps.
Protocol: a communications-enabling protocol for information-transmisson within FinNexus and also for external set-ups.
FUNCTIONAL LAYER
This layer contains:
Account systems: FinNexus system is also made up of both traditional and block-chain account systems which run to individually meet certain requirements or purposes.
Demand-matchimg system service: This will enhance the role of FinNexus as an assets exchange medium.
Funds-settlement System
Rewards distribution System
EXTERNAL SYSTEM
The FinNexus External System comprises of
- D-apps
- De-centralized Infrastructure &
- Centralized Apps
FinNexus will link variety of d-Apps, to include D-exchange, D-stablecoins, D-OTC platforms, etc
B. APPLICATIONS OF FINNEXUS
Areas in which FinNexus can be applied or utilized are similar to those of common financial protocols or platforms.
The aim of FinNexus is to provide a wide-range of variety of services on a single system so that users' needs or expectations could be addressed in a systematic, unified style for the purpose of ease, simplicity, and appealing user-experience.
FinNexus can be applied in the following areas:
Quantitative Trading through crypto-currency lending
Participating in P-o-S Pools.Products Assets Management (Stable-coins features)
Risk Hedging (Risk/volatility management)
Currently, the basic means of controlling volatility-related risks is the use of stable-coins. Stable-coins reduce volatility risks. FinNexus assets will also meet this characteristics.
In crypto-currency exchange and currency conversion, there is sometimes the need for Hedging crypto-currency prices. FinNexus can enhance just that.
C. FINNEXUS TOKEN (FNX)
The basic utility-token of FinNexus is the FNX-token (denoted as FNX). It is secure and safe cryptographically. Like a typical token, FNX is created to perform the main function in the operation of the FinNexus Eco-system and is also the basic utility token.
CHARACTERISTICS OF FNX TOKEN
- Non refundable
- Transferable
- Cryptographically-secure
- Provides an appealing payment-settlement mode
However, it is not an exchange-medium
It is an incentive for the system's resources expansion.
CONCLUSION
We can see conspicuously that the idea of FinNexus (Protocol) Eco-system was well visualized and planned, it is also very plausible. The system comes with a fantastically simple structure to backup it's problems-solving, risks-mitigating goals. With a good array of components, the FNX-token for it's economic model, and other secondary factors being put in place, FinNexus will definitely fulfil it's mandate.
