She's missing the point entirely. Black folks are WAY more likely to be suspected, approached, arrested by disproportionately white police forces... It's not hard to understand. The point of BLM is to demand equality with the importance of white lives. For cops to think "hmm if this was a white person would I be stopping the? would I be choking them? would I be pulling the trigger?" For Judges to think "would I be handing down this sentence?" Black lives are equal.

When the right wing says BLM is "controversial" or "partisan" (Tucker Carlson) wtf... how is that partisan? That's just outright admitting that you're a mad racist.

Yes violence in the black communities is an issue too. That violence is also stemming from systemic racism in housing and economic opportunity. Blacks were kept out of getting good loans to live in wealthier communities. Generational wealth is virtually not a thing for blacks in america because slavery wasn't that long ago! All the land was owned by white people... how are black folks supposed to gain economic quality when they're now trying to buy back the land they built for a thousand times the price? #housingsegretationineverything
