Nem very unique, just look at nem its got proof of importance and harvesting so a regular user recieves income by simply using the currency, and there are tons of features like voting, virtual coins called mosaics, catapult will put nem in serious competition with ethereum for alot of the potential market that does not need super specific contracts that require learning a new coding language (turing incomplete). Nem is amazing . This also makes nems smart contracts much safer with dramatically less possibility of failure which is why banks are using the private chain of nem called mijin , which is serious competition to ripple. :)
NEM is a very strong looking coin. About a week ago someone in a chat room someone told me NEM was crap because it wasn't performing as well as other Cryptos. I asked them if they were just looking at price or if they'd done any research on NEM to see what it brought to the table. They got all upset telling me it isn't going to make it. I told them to watch, wait and they will see. NEM has been moving along nicely, I think people are realizing what's going on here. I agree the website needs to be more user friendly though but I think in time they will simplify it all. For now those of us who know its potential have an advantage to stock up since it's still very cheap.
