Verge coin is very promising. It uses the Tor Network to obfuscate users IP addresses on the public ledger. Unlike other coins focused on privacy, however, it doesn't completely anonymize the public transaction ledger like PIVX. Why is this important? Because it makes it much more attractive for mass adaptation.
Think big. If someone where to make a purchase from an online retailer like Best Buy, and use PIVX. If there was a problem with the order and you had to call customer service, there would be no record of the transactions. This is a customer service nightmare. With Verge however, there will still be a public ledger!
