How to buy bitcoin
I use Luno
Simply download the app, verify your account, (ID documentation) add your bank account, fund your account, and buy bitcoin. The app is great and very educational. Here’s a video that I find helpful too.

Then I use both Blockchain.info (with added 2FA security) and external Nano wallet to keep my bitcoin safe and watch them grow month on month. Blockchain now also includes an Ethereum wallet, which is super convenient for buying ETH too!
My bitcoin earnings are then sent to my bitcoin visa card Spectrocoin, converted into USD and loaded onto my card so that I can either withdraw cash, or use wherever visa is accepted.
How to grow your bitcoins in a volatile market
As I said in my opening statement, when I started investing in bitcoin almost a year ago, 1 btc was about $800. It is now almost $5000! That’s a whopping 620% over the year, which is around 51% per month.
You can either leave your money in Luno/Blockchain/Nano etc to grow - be warned though, that because the market is so volatile, there will be days that your bitcoin will be less than your investment. But month on month, history has shown (and analysts predict another 50-100% increase by end of year) that it increases.
