Kim Dotcom has hinted today that he will be launching the beta version of Megaupload 2 together with its Bitcoin wallet "Bitcache" in August.
If you do not know who Kim Dotcom is then you need to catch up!
He started Megaupload, a cloud storage platform which was later shut down by the feds.
Today he posted this via his Twitter account:
"Bitcache and Megaupload 2.0 private beta is coming in August."
Megaupload 2.0 will offer private, encrypted cloud storage for all users .Bitcache was created to offer bitcoin micropayments that would be off-chain - “similar to the lightning network” , Kim stated.
