Recently, more than 200,000 Dutch schoolchildren have passed the OVW test, in which there were mathematical task about cryptocurrencies (in particular Bitcoin) and blockchain.

For example, in the test there was a task where the test-takers were asked to calculate in which year the number of bitcoins would exceed 18 million (a simple task), from which year the reward would decrease and be less than 1 Bitcoin and how there can be a maximum number of bitcoins in the network.

The government of the Netherlands is changing its attitude to cryptocurrencies, for example, about a month ago the court of Amsterdam recognized bitcoin as a “transferable value,” due to which the plaintiff received the satisfaction of his claims in the cryptocurrency.

From the information recorded in the court decision, one can draw the information that, according to the court, the bitcoin is characterized by all the characteristics of the property right and the demand for payment of compensation in bitcoin is legal, despite the fact that G20 finance ministers do not believe that the cryptocurrency has signs of “sovereign currencies” .
