After the Segwit2x bifurcation, Xapo may not regard the bit currency as a real dollar

Bit currency purse provider Xapo said it does not necessarily see the original chain of the Bitcoin chain as "real" bitcoin.

At the same time Xapo said,

"If we get a block of 1MB blocks for a small number of computationally supported blocks, we call it BC1; if we have a 2MB block for a small number of arithmetic support blocks, we call it BC2.

In an interview with Bitcoin Cash (BCC) in July, Xapo Chief Executive Officer Wences Casares confirmed that he had voted on the "chain of chains that had the most difficult to accumulate."

"We will continue to use Bitcoin or bifurcated BTC as the most difficult chain of chains," said Casares' blog post on Monday. "

If SegWit2x gets the consensus, Xapo's move is to support SegWit2x Chain of firm commitment. But the confusion will follow, especially when the user and another chain (BTC) when the transaction.

Social media reacted particularly strongly to this decision, the famous Twitter commentator WhalePanda called for a complete boycott of Xapo.

At the same time, other Bitcoin holders are still waiting for the commitment of other major bit-denominated wallet suppliers. Coinbase remained silent on this issue, and only former engineer Charlie Lee expressed his opinion on the hard spot that occurred on November 18th. Charlie Lee is against any bit currency hard bifurcation and does not support SegWit2x.
