Most of it could be operated with Smart Contracts. The politicians are the downfall of government, as they are easily corruptible. That's exactly what it would do, make politicians obsolete. Otherwise we'd just have the same broken system.
There may not be a need to bomb anyone next. Most wars aren't necessary, and most people would always like to avoid war, at nearly all costs. There could be some type of Proof-of-Stake system in place, with a certain number of nodes in each state. When something needed to be voted on, such as war, the states would vote. Theoretically, it would be relatively easy to give, We the People a vote in all things of importance.
