Einstein vs Tesla - How to really learn something (not just on STEEMIT)?

If you take Albert Einstein vs Nikola Tesla.

Einstein was unbeatable in one niche of science.
Nikola Tesla was interested in EVERYTHING. That made him good in every niche and unbeatable in many.

Because Tesla could not just have an idea, he was able to make it happen, create circuit, engine, construction and test it in real life.

There's probably no "21st century" Tesla or Einstein reading this.
But there are many capable people here.

If you want to learn alot in life, you don't stick to one niche, one idea or one source of information.
You can't make a fast ship without knowing all the characteristics of water.

If you really want to learn alot, you need two kinds of sources of information:

  1. Few really good ones
  2. Many different

You meet 50 people a day. 10 smart, 30 average and 10 dumb.

10 smart people have good ideas, but their ideas are limited by their own expertise and their conservative approach (crazy successful ideas doesn't come from smart people).

If you try to capitalize on ideas of those 10 smart people, you will do what everybody does.
But if you capitalize on ideas of 30 average people, you will get more ideas, and the "feel for" the largest market.
If you even listen to those dump, you can understand the "dumb market".

So if you want to learn alot being from Internet, don't only read the "HOT" and "TRENDY". Read the "NEW".
You will have to scroll down through a lot of posts, but you will get lot more information, ideas or just feel of how people think, than if you would be just reading 10 top posting authors.
