Is Bo Polny (Gold Forecaster) a Scammer?.. The Truth About Forecasters and Technical Analysts!

Hello guys, so I had no idea who this guy was until someone commented on one of my posts and told me about him, but if this isn't proof that the guy is a scamming piece of sh*t (like the vast majority of "Gold Forecasters") then I don't know what is:

He said cryptos would turn around on or just after the 9th March... guess what... They kept going down, from about $8,700 when he posted the video, to $7,300. Now you might say well we have went back up to $8,200 now and if we go up for the longer term then he was right.

I say that's letting the guy off for being a bullsh*t artist. He gave a very specific date and if the 18th of march turns out to be the turn around point for Bitcoin, he was no where near correct. I would give him the benefit of the doubt if he wasn't so specific, but he said an exact date and therefore he should be held accountable for that.

You know what is the most damning thing about all of this?

He unlisted the video LOL

Clearly trying to hide the fact that he was wrong.

It makes me so angry when I see people being taken in by these a*holes, they are not prophets guys, they are bullsht artists just like Haejin. No one knows what the market will do, we can try and make predictions, but saying an exact date and roping vulnerable people in to give you their money is one of the scummiest things you can do in my opinion.

So how does he rope people in? Well even just this one video tells us everything we need to know about this jacka**...

  • The "epic" music in the video is meant to get you thinking emotionally rather than logically,

  • Bringing your family into it and using phrases like your family's "financial lifeboat" is extremely common among scammers using dreamy sounding wordage to make you, again, think with your emotions rather than pure logic (plus the word "lifeboat" activates our survival-response in some form I am sure, I am actually reading a book on loss aversion and how it is crazy influential to human behaviour. The guy is trying to make you think "your family is at risk, if you don't follow my advice!" and what bigger loss are we trying to avert than the loss of our family's survival?),

  • Giving a definitive date (Friday march 9) is crazy to me because I don't believe anyone knows which month markets will turn around, never mind the day, and usually when these people are wrong they either ignore it and make another prediction, or they say something out of the ordinary caused it to not happen on that date (how convenient for them lol).

So yeah, take these guys forecasts with a truckload of salt, and if they mention an exact date run for your life from them before they take your life savings lol.

The last point I want to make, and it is just common sense, is the fact that the vast majority of these people aren't putting forecasts/ TA out there from the good of their hearts. If they were good people they would make their money from trading/investing and do charity work or donate to a charity, but they aren't making a living from trading/investing and so they carry out paid presentations and create scammy trading program/ software. They are basically just trying to scam people out of their money guys. It is as simple as that.

I of course post TA on here so you may call me out saying why are you here then? I couldn't care less about making money on steemit, infact I have put real money into this and never withdrew any, and I will certainly never make the money back that I put in, never mind profit from this platform. Posting my analysis on here is good to keep myself accountable and be able to look back on my past analysis to see where I went wrong and learn from it.

I am still learning more and more each day about Technical Analysis, and so I am no where near an Expert within this field, so please do not make buying or selling decisions based on my posts.

I'm not even sold that Technical Analysis is really a legit strategy to profit from financial markets if i'm totally honest. Yes support and resistance is obviously legit as we see price stall and reverse at these levels routinely, but does TA really allow us to predict with a decent amount of accuracy what price will do at these support and resistance levels, and where price will move to afterwards? I'm not sure on that yet, but maybe the more I learn the more definitive answer I will have in that regard.

So what I enjoy about posting on here is the ability for other people to easily comment and post their own analysis so that I can compare mine with theirs. That is all this blog is for really. A place for both me and everyone else to come together and learn. My goal is to earn an income from trading/investing alone, not from selling people scammy e-books or trading programs, I would rather go homeless than take some vulnerable person's life savings!! Clearly not everyone has that mindset though.

Anyways, rant over lol. I just want you guys to promise me one thing, that you won't get roped into these bullsh*t artists predictions and programs! Thank you for reading.
