Gaming and Cryptos, Checking Out GameCredits (GAME)

GameCredits is a universal currency and virtual wallet for gamers. It wants to be the gaming platform for developers and gamers around the world.

This is one I first looked at back at the end of June when GAME traded around $3.70. You can find that here It fell from there and spent the last few months trading around $2, but it’s been up recently.

GameCredits believes there’s a lot of benefits of introducing cryptos to gaming and that its GAME token and platform can solve those problems.

For gamers using GAME provides frictionless payments, plus there’s no deposit limits. Transactions are also faster than using credit cards. And you don’t have to worry about fraudulent virtual goods.

GAME can benefit developers as well. Right now when a developer publishes a game on Google or Apple they take a 30% cut. With GameCredits they’ll get 90%. They’ll also get faster payouts. And since there’s no deposit limits the revenue potential is greater.

Here are the components that make up GameCredits:

GNation – the GameCredits community.

GPlay – the GNation gaming store.

Game.GG – (in development) – competitive e-sports.

GWallet – a universal wallet for all your gaming needs.

GExchange – (in development) - the GNation exchange where you can trade GAME for other cryptos and fiat.

GShare – (in development) – the official charity of GNation.

PixelWars – a MMORPG for Android and iOS. Epic 100-player battles.

AppMarka – a new game creation engine for developers. Easily add GameCredits payment options.

MobileGo – the first crypto-centric mobile gaming platform and store for in-game purchases. MobileGo is fully controlled by the players (no third-party organizers), participants compete for monetary prizes, and it can run directly in the GameCredits mobile platform.

The GAME token is actually a clone of Litecoin and has the same supply (84 million) and Scrypt consensus algorithm. Right now 64 million of the total supply are in circulation.

Here’s a look at the GAME price chart this year. As you can see it looks to be on the move again.

What got me really excited was this recent article that GameCredits partnered with Unity Technolgoies. Unity is the world’s largest game development software provider.

This is one worth checking out. What do you think of GAME?
