Britain wants to increase control over Bitcoin and other digital currency. The European Union (EU) wants to do this with the help of the monopolistic law.

Under this law, complaints were made to compel the identity of the exchangeers and suspect activities.

Along with the increase in demand, this year, the price of Bitcoin has risen almost a thousand percent.

The British Finance Minister said that the discussion on the EU policy for this change is expected to end at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2014.

Britain's Revenue Division's Economics Secretary Stephen Berkeley said in a statement to Parliament on November 3, "This amendment will bring the virtual currency exchange platform and caretaker wallet servicemen into the monetary and anti-terrorist policies."

This means that these institutions will remain in the supervision of the local authorities, in this statement it is said that the British Daily Independent report is mentioned.

Recently, a US regulatory body, CME Group and CVO Global Markets, are allowed to sign contracts with Bitcoin by their two financial institutions.

Meanwhile, Australia has tried to strengthen the laws of money laundering by bringing Bitcoin under the supervision of financial services agencies of the government.
