BTC this morning surprised me as I refreshed the price on the toilet getting ready for work as I saw a huge spike in volume as well as on the prices of all currencies this morning.
We still aren't out of the woods yet as its going to take a lot more than $10 billion to sway these markets. We are seeing upward momentum in the right direction though and its perfect that we bounced off the $5800 mark because thats about the cost currently to mine 1 BTC.
The rules still apply even though this isn't "gold" where the idea of mining was so that we could create software that cannot be replicated and found solutions to the double-spend feature.
Now although Cryptocurrency is hot right now and I believe profits in the next 2 to 4 years will be worth the wait I still advise that precious metals are one of the best investment vehicles at the moment.
Both cryptos and metals act as a hedge against the normal everyday fractional-reserved based system.
Silver is a stable and safe investment with a low entry point. The price has remained stable which may sway some of you crypto enthusiasts but to me this just means money is safer in that investment as well as accounting for future inflation as well.
In any great investment portfolio diversification is needed and I would definitly not only take a look at silver but start looking into industrial metals like copper.
To me personally money in coin form is the best investment and stability against inflation because you have 3 price points
1 you have the face value of the coin which can be transferred at any bank at any time
2 the metal value will increase in price thus making these coins more valuable in the future
3 they are a safe investment against robbery, fire, flooding, because one $25 box of pennies weighs close to 20 pounds and if there is a fire at your residency the metal wont just disappear but just may take a different form which is fine since these are investments.
I will be doing more metals and coin posts as I think these investment vehicles offer enough profit and stability to interest those involved in crypto at finding value where others don't see it!
