A few days ago (it was around August 16) I ordered a card from Coinsbank. A pleasant surprise for today, as I just got it on my hands! The above image is the package from the post office!
Πριν λίγες ημέρες (γύρω στις 16 Αυγούστου), παρήγγειλα μια κάρτα απο την Coinsbank. Και ως ευχάριστη έκπληξη, η κάρτα έφτασε σήμερα στα χέρια μου! Πριν λίγο την παρέλαβα για την ακρίβεια! Η παραπάνω φωτογραφία είναι ο φάκελος με τον οποίο την έστειλαν.
Inside the parcel we can find a blue ballpoint pen that is also a touchscreen pen on the other side, and a hard carton box that holds the card. "Why so big?" I asked myself. It's around 1.5cm thick (measured by my eye, so it might be 2cm :P )
Στον φάκελο μέσα έχει ένα στυλό χρώματος μπλε, το οποίο στην άλλη μεριά είναι πενάκι για οθόνες αφής, και ένα κουτάκι απο σκληρό χαρτόνι, το οποίο είχε μέσα την κάρτα. "Γιατί να είναι τόσο μεγάλο;" αναρωτήθηκα... Σε πάχος είναι περίπου 1,5cm (με το μάτι πάντα, οπότε να υπολογίζετε 2cm :P )
As expected, inside the hard carton box is the card, that's in the blue colors of Coinsbank (and it also has the logo :P ) It also has a few bitcoin cards with my account's bitcoin address and the corresponding QR Code, and my phone on the other side (think of it like a business card, those on the bottom-right), an invitation to Coinsbank's Blockchain Cruise 2017 (not an actual invitation, just an "infocard", shown on bottom-left), and another card showing Coinsbank's services (on the other side, not on the side shown in the image, on the center-left)
Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, μέσα στο σκληρό κουτάκι βρήκα την κάρτα μου, η οποία είναι σε αποχρώσεις του μπλε, όπως το site του Coinsbank (και το λογότυπο μαζί :P). Επίσης, μερικές καρτούλες (τύπου επαγγελματικές) όπου στη μια μεριά έχει το όνομά μου, το τηλέφωνό μου, την διεύθυνση bitcoin του λογαριασμού μου στην υπηρεσία και το QR Code που αντιστοιχεί σε αυτήν (κεντρο-δεξιά στην άνω φωτογραφία), μια ενημερωτική κάρτα για το Blockchain Cruise 2017 που οργανώνει το Coinbase (κάτω-αριστερά) και τέλος μια ακόμα καρτούλα που δείχνει τις υπηρεσίες της εταιρείας (αυτή που είναι κεντρο-αριστερά, αλλά είναι στην άλλη μεριά απο αυτή που δείχνω... δε με έκοψε εκείνη τη στιγμή να την γυρίσω! :P )
One more pleasant surprise awaited for me on the bottom side of the box. A canadian coin of 1 cent, that was minted in my year of birth (1988), stuck on a card (as shown in the images below)
Μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη ακόμα με περίμενε στην κάτω μεριά του κουτιού... Ένα καναδικό νόμισμα του 1 cent, που κόπηκε το έτος που γεννήθηκα (1988), κολλημένο σε μια καρτούλα (δείτε τις εικόνες παρακάτω)
Δυστυχώς δε χωρούσε ολόκληρο το όνομά μου στα στοιχεία έκδοσης & αποστολής και το πετσόκοψα. Το όνομά μου πλέον είναι ένα κράμα Ρώσου/Αμερικάνου/Έλληνα :P
Unfortunatelly they couldn't fit my full name on the card and delivery address, so I had to improvise on how many characters I'd have to cut out. I ended up with a mix of Russian/American/Greek name :P
Why I chose Coinsbank?
I don't have to recharge my card any time I want to use it. I just send my crypto (they accept Bitcoin/Litecoin), and when they are funded in my account I can use them. They get converted instantly to Euro when I use it. It is a true debit Visa card.
Γιατί διάλεξα την Coinsbank?
Δεν χρειάζεται να "φορτίσεις" την κάρτα κάθε φορά που θες να την χρησιμοποιήσεις! Απλά στέλνεις τα crypto σου (bitcoin & litecoin), και όταν πιστωθούν στο λογαριασμό σου, απλά χρησιμοποιείς την κάρτα. Γίνεται αυτόματη μετατροπή σε ευρώ κατα την χρήση της. Είναι μια πραγματική χρεωστική κάρτα (debit card), σαν τις κάρτες αναλήψεων που είναι ΚΑΙ Visa από τις τράπεζές μας στην Ελλάδα
