Hi Bitconaires,
Congratulations to those who bought bitcoin when it was dead cheap. Imagine those who bought at #200 or below and are also long term "HODLer". if you bought before the "FORK" August 1st around $2150, you are also still very lucky.
BUT
1 - What if your system crashes as you are reading this write up without you having a backup of your wallet? (God forbid right?)
A - Quickly create a backup of your "wallet.dat" now, It's a kind reminder from me to you.
B- Check to confirm that your Private Keys, Seeds or Passphrases are where they are and secure.
2 - Reassess your broker or exchange now, be sure you are in the right place.
3 - What if your exchange decides to play pranks and your verified status becomes unverified? (Just joking right?)
Quickly get yourself verified, the "Bitcoin Game" is getting real, fulfill all righteousness now. (Know Your Customer) I know, cryptocurrencies should be anonymous but it isn't yet. :(
4 - Store excess coin away from the exchange, only move them there when you want to trade or exchange.
5 - Getting a "Hardware wallet" is a good idea to guard against virus or malware attack.
6 - Learn to read the charts and trade or HODL (Hold for long term)
7 - Know when to buy, buy more or sell.
