Peter Thiel, the founder of PayPal and the biggest investor on Facebook, made a statement about CNBC correspondent Bitcoin in a talk at the Economy Club in New York last week. Peter Thiel said he did not find Bitcoin as a means of payment and said he saw it as a means of storing value.

"I see Bitcoin as the online counterpart of gold."

The famous investor also shared the theory of the price of Bitcoin. According to Peter Thiel, the price of bitcoin will not increase between 50% and 80%. However, Thiel said that Bitcoin predicted the price increase would be between 20% and 50%. The billionaire investor opposed the rumors that Ethereum would pass Bitcoin, saying that Ethereum could not beat Bitcoin, as silver did not succeed in crossing Ehereum against Bitcoin and Silver's leading asset class gold.

In addition to all this, Peter Thiel has added that he is neutral to other cryptographic currencies other than a few of the leading crypto units like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The news source notes that Thiel's venture capital firm Founders Fund has invested in Bitcoin for the last six years, between $ 15 million and $ 20 million. This investment can easily make the fluctuation of bitcoin price as everyone predicts. In the meantime, Peter Thiel may publicly announce the increase in the price of Bitcoin.
