Official party in India is accused of fraud and theft of 200 Bitcoins (BTC)

INC, the opposition party of India, repudiated this past Thursday the decision of the BJP coalition to cover an ongoing investigation into a fraud of more than US $ 763 million in Bitcoin in the state of Gujarat. The scam would include manipulation of investors, abduction of entrepreneurs and the theft of around 200 Bitcions (BTC). However, the BJP denied any involvement with the crime and categorized the accusations as laughable.

The Indian National Congress Party called on the nation's Supreme Court to sanction the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for lobbying local investigators, claiming that the sum of the scam would amount to $ 12 trillion.

"A new Bitcoin mega scam has been revealed in Gujarat. Also, the existing evidence in the cryptocurrency scam would directly implicate several members of the BJP, including a former leader of the MLA: Nalin Kotadiya, "INC spokesman Shaktisinh Gohi told local NDTV channel.

It is also worth noting that since the scam was revealed, Kotadiya would be on the run, and claims to have information implicating BJP leaders in the crime, according to a video leaked a few days ago.

The investigation began just after the local government minister filed a formal complaint against the Amreli police district for alleged involvement in the abduction and theft of 200 Bitcoins from Shailesh Bhatt's wallet, a local businessman and one of the main investors of the investment firm in BTC Bitconnect.
