Social media giant Facebook has banned ads related to bitcoin and ICO with its new advertising policy.
Rob Leathern, director of the company's product management,in a blog post yesterday, the new advertising policy "ads that support financial products and services that can often be associated with misleading or deceptive promotional applications such as binary options, ICO and crypto currencies" Target.
The ban extends to other platforms of Facebook.
The Facebook administrator added that the policy extends to other platforms of Facebook, including the popular photo sharing app Instagram.
