As the BitCar team get back on the road for the next pit-stop of the #BitCarRoadshow in Miami, we want to reflect on the productive few days we had in Dubai for the Dubai International Blockchain Summit.

The first stop on the #BitCarRoadshow was Dubai, for the Dubai International Blockchain Summit, held at the Atlantis Hotel on January 8th 2018. With over 3000+ attendees, and BitCar as an Official Sponsor, there was a fantastic amount of interest at our booth, as well as during Gov’s keynote speech, titled: “BitCar — Vehicle Tokenization Revolution”.
The media exposure garnered across the week added to the warm welcome we received by the organisers and car collectors. In just a few short days, BitCar was featured by multiple notable media houses, including:

Following the successful one-day event, the BitCar team continued to explore Dubai and it’s celebrated exotic car culture. Thanks to links through our BitCar Advisors, we were grateful to have not only explored some of Dubai’s most highly regarded showrooms, but to have also met up with private collectors and their tantalising range of exotic cars.
Not only did we get to go up close and personal with some of these cars - we also got driven around in some of them, including the very rare La Ferrari!
With only 500 La Ferrari’s to have ever hit production, Daniel Woodroof was given access to one of these potential platform-cars.!
At another private collection location in Dubai, both Daniel and John got up close with the notorious Bugatti Veyron, 1 of 450 that were ever made.
Dubai was an excellent opportunity to kickstart our world tour, and we’re excited to come back here on the 5–6 February for the Middle East Blockchain Forum where we will be doing another keynote (and seeing more cars!).
