The European greenfinch, or just greenfinch (Chloris chloris), juvenile.

Strange, but in our city these birds are very unsociable. Familiar birdwatchers say me that in their cities you can take pictures of these birds without problems, they are quite brave, and willingly visit feeders in the yards. And in my city they are not even close to getting close. Here, only young birds managed to be shot close-up.

These birds have a special interesting voice, for which they are popularly called "forest canaries".
In adults, yellow-green plumage, for which they got their name. Males are colored more brightly and saturated than females.
Also on the wings has a yellow stripe, like their relatives - goldfinches (Carduelis).
