Ratel's photos #313 Water Birds-22

The common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) also known as the Eurasian kingfisher, and river kingfisher.

Ooh! See who I met on the beach! May 30, our first meeting this year. These guys live here every year. That is, in this area. It was not possible to get closer to it, the river was still spilled due to the melting of ice, and therefore the coast was flooded.
This buddy was sitting on the branches of low thickets and looked out for fish in the river. Hearing the clicks of my camera, he was distracted and looked directly into the lens. Unfortunately, all his beauty could not be captured, the branches interfered. But pay attention to his wonderful short legs! Very bright, orange like carrots.

The great tit (Parus major)

And not far from the bushes a titmouse was jumping. She cracked loudly, signaling about danger. It is not clear whom she considered a danger, me, or a wonderful kingfisher? ;)
Funny, but these titmouses live everywhere. And even here on the shore.
