Great-horned Owl Bubo virginianus nest with one adult and two young.
On my hike this weekend at Chamber's Creek Trail in University Place, WA I was lucky enough to see the Great-horned Owl nest with chicks. Great-horned Owls are common throughout much of North America, but finding a next in a location to see the owlets in the nest is not easy. I felt really fortunate.
