“Those that commit such things are worthy of death!” Video by Carl Albert

In his 12/26/19 Youtube Video titled “Those that commit such things are worthy of death!” Carl Albert uses James chapter 3, 2Thessalonians 2:7, and Romans 1:28 to find out how worthiness of the second death is determined, the lake of fire. He starts out showing examples of where man may feel one deserves death, or even feel justified in murder, which he differentiates from killing. He elaborates that the scriptures show how the Lord determined death already in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and would surely die due to their sin and would now pass on death through their genealogy. From that opened up the first death, which was by murder; Abel. Therefore, he’s speaking on the second death.

Carl Albert, the youngest raised by an older generation, says it’s two mindsets: The tongue can deliver earthly or heavenly information and that bridling the tongue can prevent death. In bridling, words can still be spoken but a harsh word stirs up wrath and a soft answer is good for the soul. Tension can lead to harsh exchanges of words or sometimes escalate beyond saying “yo momma”. But the point is to discern times for death, not to incite it. Using James 3:13-14 Carl shows how to have a good conversation which brings blessings instead of contention: Showing meekness and wisdom brings blessings in good conversation; but :14 above all lie not against the truth even in bitterness. Carl gives us another example where an entire community may decide to put someone to death, deeming them worthy regardless of police or process and basing it on principalities that community had set forth as guidelines. In that light, he elaborates, he would rather have dookie rubbed in his face than to have death since the scripture out of Malachi had previously been criticized as being wholly incredible when ignoring death as the other option.

When you violate both the Old and New testaments which says no lying or bearing false witness it brings consequences such as a death based on a false report. But it can also cost one their soul in the second death even beyond the reason of dying, since we all die. Carl opens Romans 1:28 to show how the reprobate mind does things that are not convenient and that those taking pleasure in those things are worthy of death according to the Word. Watching gore in movies or knockout fights is included; they choose death by casting away the truth. Sin really does bring eternal damnation and manifests as strong delusion and confusion. “People flirt with death and even cause others to be affected.” “Some people think they are not worthy of death but everything they do just leads up to that.” Those knowing better are implored to do better besides claiming ignorance.

The scriptures say the Lord will consume with the spirit that comes from His mouth. The words are spirit either a sword or to speak life. He will destroy all lying and wickedness with his word and it will perish because they didn’t receive the love of the truth so that they might be saved. There’s consequences to sin and if you choose those consequences be ready to accept responsibility for all causes and effects and even including not snitching on the persons you did it with.
