Feeling in need of a BHAG for 2019 (and beyond)

I hate new year's resolutions. Short pithy wishes that normally get cast aside within a few days or weeks. Rarely a plan to achieve the desired outcome, just a hope and a prayer. And this is why 9 out of 10 fail.

On the other hand, grand master plans with timescales, sub-goals and a decent 'why' underpinning it stands a much better chance of achievement.

I find that grand master plans are in need of some extra sauce if they are to drive us forward everyday. Otherwise, the path of least resistance starts to beckon us - and we fall off the wagon and fall back into our old ways.

This is where BHAGS can help...

The term BHAG was coined by Tom Peters (I think) and it stands for a Big Hairy Audacious Goal.

A BHAG should scare you with its sheer scale and splendour. Something that, if you could achieve it, would blow the socks off every or anything else that you've taken a shot at before.

I am currently thinking about and working on formulating mine. I'd be interested to learn what yours is for 2019 and beyond?
